Info For Stallholders

Thank you for your interest in attending the Mt Eliza Farmers' Market.

The Mt Eliza Farmers’ Market is currently at capacity, but we are always interested in receiving Expressions of Interest, providing your produce fits within our criteria. In the case of stalls becoming available, primary farm based produce will always be given priority. Sometimes Specialty Makers will be accepted to add to the market mix and ensure customer satisfaction.

To become a stallholder, please do the following:

  1. Read our Criteria & Regulations document to ensure that your produce is suitable for the market. No craft, bric-a-brac, on-sellers or re-packagers are allowed.
  2. The Mt Elliza Farmers’ Market is proudly Accredited with the Victorian Farmers’ Market Association. If your produce fits our criteria, but you are not already accredited, you will need to apply. For more information about Accreditation click here
  3. Once you have gained your VFMA accreditation, please submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to the market manager. Please note this is not an application form and does not guarantee acceptance into the market. We can only consider you for entry to the market once an EOI has been received. (Download EOI here)
  4. You will receive an email to confirm the receipt of your EOI and to give you an update of the possibility of your attendance at the market.
  5. Once you are confirmed to attend the market, you will need to provide proof of your insurance policy. If you are not currently insured to attend markets, these are some of the recommended underwriters:

  6. Once accepted to the market, you will also need to complete the relevant paperwork from the Mornington Peninsula Shire if you are selling food for human consumption. Please call their Environmental Health Officer on (03) 59501865

Existing stallholders can download the 2013 renewal form here.
